The Google tag loads with privacy-focused consent defaults set to denied, and full analytics cookies and detailed measurement only start after you choose Accept Analytics. PostHog stays off until you opt in. Rejecting analytics does not affect sign-in, lessons, payments, or other core features.

The preflight step answers whether a link works. The next question is what to do with it.
Butterfluent should provide a stronger handoff: if the captions are good and the clip is short, open a focused watch mode. If it is dense dialogue, suggest phrase-saving. If the learner already has overdue cards, recommend a review-first path after the lesson.
This is less about adding features and more about reducing friction between existing ones.

Decision fatigue is real here. If the app already knows the clip is short and caption quality is good, it should recommend the path.
