1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Description of Service

Butterfluent provides an AI-powered language-learning platform offering: subtitle generation from YouTube videos and uploaded media files, subtitle search and download, flashcard deck creation, and vocabulary tools. Features are subject to change without notice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload or process content you do not own or have rights to; (b) use the Service to infringe copyrights or other intellectual property; (c) attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures; (d) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (e) scrape or automate requests without written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

Butterfluent and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kaizen Dubai. You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for providing the Service.

6. Free & Paid Plans

Free accounts are subject to usage limits (currently 5 videos/month). Pro and Team plans are available on request — email info@kaizendubai.com. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party APIs including OpenAI/Anthropic (translation), Groq (transcription), and subtitle databases. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ACCURACY OF TRANSCRIPTIONS, TRANSLATIONS, OR SUBTITLE QUALITY. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAIZEN DUBAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
