No. The free plan requires no payment details. You only enter payment information if you decide to upgrade to Pro.

What counts as a word lookup?

Each time you click a word in the subtitle player to get its translation, grammar, and gender, that counts as one lookup. Results are cached — re-clicking the same word in a future session doesn't use another lookup.

Can I cancel Pro at any time?

Yes. You can cancel from the Billing page at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens if I hit the free plan limit?

You'll see a clear message when you approach or reach a limit. You can continue watching and using features that don't require AI — upgrade at any time to remove limits.

Does the Chrome extension work on the free plan?

Yes. The Chrome extension works on the free plan. Word lookups via the extension count toward your monthly limit.

Is there a student or annual discount?
